So you love your dog and you want the whole world to know it. You've tried your hand at Instagram (and loved it), TikTok, Twitter, etc. and are ready to create a constant stream of revenue featuring your dog.
The first step into creating a dog blog is to define your why. Are you wanting to share food and treat recipes, DIYs, educate other dog parents on safety tips, share the best dog products on the market, or because you want to promote your pet business? If you answered "yes" to any of these options you have a great reason to want to start a blog.

So once you define why and who your target audience is you'll want to decide on a domain name that reflects that. You can use sites like Wordpress, Wix, Godaddy, Shopify, and Weebly to get your site set up.
After you have your domain chosen, you'll want to make sure you have your social channels set up with the same name to make it easier for people to find you across each platform.

Then you can let the fun begin!
When starting a new blog, it's always best to have at least 5-10 posts live on your site when you launch. This gives your readers a chance to look around, read your content, and visit different parts of your site.
Try to write posts in each topic you plan to discuss regularly (i.e. DIY dog treats to make this summer in 5 minutes or less, 10 IG famous dogs I love to follow, My favorite place to shop dog accessories, etc.) so your readers know what type of content to expect from you.
