How To Throw A Dog-Friendly Picnic

What better way to enjoy a summer day than a picnic with your dog? It's a great way to get some fresh air and spend quality time with your pup(s).

Before you go, you'll need to check out these tips to make sure you have the best time possible!

Choose a dog-friendly location: A park that is shaded and dog-friendly (but not overcrowded) would be the best bet for a peaceful meal. You can even bring a portable fan to help you, and your dogs, stay cool.

Take A Walk: Before settling down to eat, take a quick walk around the park to wear your dogs out just a little so they have an easier time relaxing.

Toys Toys Toys! If your dogs love playing outdoors like mine do, they will want to have a frisbee, tennis ball, or interactive toy with them to enjoy.

Picnic Snacks: There's no picnic without food! Bring foods like fruits, veggies, and sandwich meat that both you and your dog can enjoy - or DIY your own treats for them to snack on. Be sure to separate any foods or drinks that are unsafe for dogs and bring plenty of water, too!
